
Referencing his memories, Lionel told Conner that it sounded like the Kent residence. Inspired, Conner and Krypto traveled to Kansas and met Lionel Luthor, confusing it for another location. Conner then saw a truck with the picture of a wheat field, triggering more memories of him being referred to as 'Clark' and seeing a woman with him a wheat field.Ĭonner goes to Kansas and is thrown off by his memories, leading to the Luthor residence. Conner returned to the vendor and purchased the Superman shirt. Terrified, the woman quickly gave him her purse out of the fear that she would be hurt. However, when Conner learned that she was being robbed for money, he was amazed at the prospect of having some and harmlessly requested if he could have it instead. Witnessing a thief holding a woman at gunpoint, Conner intervened and crushed the gun with his bare hand and saved the woman. Told that all he needed was money for the shirt Conner and Krypto had no choice but to leave.

Drawn by the shirt for whatever reason, Conner took it but the owner aggressively approached, triggering some unfavorable memories of what seemed to be an abusive past. Conner eventually came across a street vendor selling t-shirts, one of them being a Superman shirt. Conner and Krypto traveled to the city and walked the streets. Reading the name "Conner" on the uniform tag, Subject 13 decided to claim the name and uniform as his own. Subject 13 read the dog's nametag, learning his name was Krypto. Strolling around nude, he acquired the uniform of a random guard. It certainly seems as though it would do wonders for Superboy as he edges closer to having his own Dark Superman story in Titans Season 3.Conner learns Krypto's name before choosing an identity for himself. Furthermore, the only major hero to be featured thus far in Titans has been Bruce Wayne, though that could change with the addition of a possible Clark Kent cameo. It's unclear if the Man of Steel even knows of Conner's existence. It seems as though his guilt over Hank's death will most likely be sticking with him for a while, as well as the pressures of being just like Superman while rejecting any darker aspects that could be coming from Luthor.Īll in all, it certainly seems as though Conner would benefit from meeting Superman in the flesh and having a heart-to-heart, though it's anyone's guess if that will actually come to pass.

While large portions of Titans Season 3 have been focused on Nightwing along with Red Hood and Starfire, that could soon change after this new development for Conner. While it should be noted that Conner's battle with his inner darkness isn't new in the pages of DC Comics, it will be interesting to see how it plays out in this live-action series. While it seems as though a bit of rift has been created between Conner and Gar as a result, this interaction could be indicative of a larger arc going forward, seeing Conner's fears about his Luthor genes motivating a reality where he does indeed go dark.

Zeroing in on Hank Hall's Hawk, Red Hood implanted a bomb into Hank's heart with a set number of heartbeats serving as the timer before he'd be killed. In previous episodes of Titans, Jason Todd has come back from the dead as the Red Hood, a much darker foe who's been targeting the Titans he once called his friends and allies.
